Flex rankings sure are getting to be important as fantasy owners prepare for Week 8. They were last week too with four teams on bye (it's four again this week); and then you factor in the trades that have happened (sorry Carlos Hyde owners). With Amari Cooper no longer in Oakland it doesn't mean Jordy Nelson or Martavis Bryant suddenly vault up the rankings, but each does receive a boost.
As for who is at the top, this week's it all about the running backs with Adam Thielen, Antonio Brown and A.J. Green the only wide receivers to crack the top 10.
Elsewhere, Nick Chubb is now in the top 25 and for those leagues that include tight end as a flex option, George Kittle is in a good spot (again) as a top-three TE and No. 40 overall.
It's crunch time for many owners who need to win or start thinking about next season. Hopefully these rankings will help you maximize your team's potential the rest of the way.
Teams on bye: Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles Chargers, Tennessee
