Only two teams are on bye in Week 8, but fantasy football owners have plenty of injuries to contend with. Adam Thielen looks very questionable for Week 8. Kerryon Johnson is out. David Johnson probably should remain on fantasy benches. Davante Adams likely will miss Week 8 as well. These injuries make life more difficult for their owners, but they open doors for the players that may step up in their absence (Chase Edmonds, anyone?)
Fantasy owners should also keep an eye on the trades that are occurring throughout the league. Mohamed Sanu was traded to the New England Patriots. While he is ranked No. 97 on the flex rankings this week, he will have value in the coming weeks. His presence does drop Phillip Dorsett down in the rankings (No. 89 in the flex rankings). Also, Emmanuel Sanders was traded to the San Francisco 49ers (No. 83 in the flex rankings).
