Flex Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 8

Khalil Herbert is a flex option with a lot of weekly upside.

Even though David Montgomery is the starter in Chicago, Khalil Herbert has been putting on a good show for his fantasy managers. In Week 7, both backs had 62 rushing yards. Montgomery had three more carries than Herbert. Herbert scored a receiving touchdown, while Montgomery had a rushing touchdown. Herbert is a flex candidate — at least — while Montgomery still has a slight hold on RB2 status.

In terms of wide receivers in the flex spot, Hunter Renfrow is someone to consider. It isn't clear if Darren Waller will be active or not, but if he is out again, look for Renfrow to fill in with some additional targets. In Week 7, Renfrow had three receptions for 55 yards. He had more targets earlier in the season, and that potential is there, even with Mack Hollins grabbing more receptions. Renfrow is a flex option, especially in PPR formats.
