Projections for the season ahead
As the 2019 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
No other tight end tallied more than two receptions of 40-plus yards last year. Kittle delivered six. Kittle had 20 catches of 20-plus yards. Only four other tight ends reached double digits. He’s not likely to produce three plays of 70 yards or more again, but Kittle clearly brings uncommon explosiveness to the position. Although Nick Mullens surprised last year, getting Jimmy Garoppolo back should help the 5.7 percent TD rate that was Kittle’s only 2018 knock.

Bye Week: 4
Kittle’s offense is getting crowded with young wideouts, but he’s the best bet to lead in targets again, and he’s an explosive playmaker.
