As the 2019 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
In addition to the big stats you know about, Conner ranked ninth in Pro Football Focus’ rating among all running backs with at least 100 carries. The question for 2019 will be whether his workload shrinks. Conner carried 19 times or more in five games last year and cracked 100 yards each time. He carried 15 times or fewer in the other eight and never topped 65 yards. Jaylen Samuels proved to be a threat in his absence, and Pittsburgh drafted Benny Snell Jr.

Conner will remain the clear lead back, but watch camp and preseason to gauge his workload and how Pittsburgh looks post-Antonio Brown.
