As the 2020 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
San Francisco’s run-heavy offense lowers his fantasy ceiling, but Garoppolo raises the floor with efficiency. He ranked fourth in completion rate in his first full starting season, seventh in touchdown rate, third in yards per pass attempt and 12th in fantasy points per pass attempt. The Niners replaced Emmanuel Sanders with first-rounder Brandon Aiyuk and continue to sport the difference-making option that is George Kittle.

Garoppolo’s a weak bet for consistently big numbers, but he can be a productive member of a QB platoon at a draft discount.
