Joe Mixon: Fantasy Outlook 2019
As the 2019 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
Joe Mixon Fantasy Outlook
Mixon drew 73.4 percent of Bengals carries in the 14 games he played last year. For the season, only Saquon Barkley beat that share. This season brings a new coaching staff led by former Rams QBs coach Zac Taylor. The two years Taylor spent with the Rams saw Todd Gurley draw target shares of 18.0 percent and 15.7 percent. Either number would mark an increase over the 12.1 percent Mixon drew in his 14 games last year. Of course, Giovani Bernard remains to challenge that target share.

Quick Take
Don’t go expecting a Rams import to turn these Bengals into the Rams. But Mixon deserves a Todd Gurley-like workload and Round 1 spot.
Season Projections for 2019
269 carries, 1,157 yards, 8 rushing TDs; 69 receptions, 552 yards, 2 receiving TDs
