As the 2020 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
General manager Mike Mayock said in February that Jacobs needed to improve in pass protection to grow his role in the passing game. Jacobs ranked 13th in the league in carries as a rookie but just 46th among running backs in targets (27). He’s obviously set up to continue as the lead back. But Jalen Richard (43 targets) returns, and versatile third-round pick Lynn Bowden Jr. — a receiver and quarterback in college — will play running back with the Raiders.

Jacobs is a talent worth betting on, and his team should improve. But challenges to his target share could keep him from elite upside.
