With so many other lineup decisions for Week 16, fantasy owners should just keep whichever kicker they have. Keep an eye on the injury report (one kicker was out and two were questionable in Week 15), but other than that, don't overthink it. Ka'imi Fairbairn was the top scoring fantasy kicker for Week 16, making five field goals (including one from beyond 50 yards). Finding kickers on teams that can't seem to get into the end zone is a great strategy (if you can predict it).
Brett Maher had been on a great streak, and the Cowboys fit the bill of a team that struggled in the red zone. However, he (and the Cowboys) were shut out in Week 15. Fantasy owners likely didn't appreciate the goose egg, but often teams that struggled one week bounce back the next. It wasn't Maher's fault Dallas didn't score; continue to start him if you are playing for a fantasy championship.
