For their real-life teams (and fantasyowners), kickers have had a rough time this season. Mason Crosby missed four field goals and an extra point in Week 5. He wasn't alone; five other kickers also missed a PAT in Week 5. It was brutal, watching kickers miss field goals (and earning negative points in some leagues). It seems that no kicker is invincible. With the bye weeks upon us, if fantasy owners need a roster spot, drop your kicker. If nothing else, there is no need to hold on to a kicker through the bye if an offensive player may offer more value.
For Week 6, both Stephen Gostkowski and Harrison Butker are the top-ranked kickers. The Patriots and the Chiefs face off on Sunday night, and that game should be a high-scoring one. Both kickers have done well (although either can falter at any time) and should continue to do so. Graham Gano, of the game-winning 63-yard field goal, cracks the top 10 this week (and he was the No. 1 scoring kicker for Week 5).
Teams on bye: Detroit, New Orleans
