Kicker Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 8

Rodrigo Blankenship returns from his bye week and is the No. 2-ranked kicker for Week 8

Another week, another barely-owned kicker earning more fantasy points than all but two running backs. Tyler Bass (owned in 4 percent of leagues) attempted eight field goals. He made six of them, rewarding fantasy owners that did start him. It will be hard to trust him as he attempted nine field goals in the six games prior. He made six of them. Overall, the Bills seemed to phone it in for their matchup against the Jets. Harrison Butker and the Kansas City Chiefs face the Jets in Week 8, but Butker is still the No. 1-ranked kicker. Butker has only missed one field goal this season, and he should be a great start in Week 8.

Fantasy owners should check their waiver wire to see if Rodrigo Blankenship was dropped last week when Indianapolis had their bye. Blankenship is available in about two-thirds of Yahoo! leagues and has been a solid kicker this season. He's ranked No. 2 for Week 8 with the Colts set to face the Detroit Lions. He's made 16 out of 18 field goals so far this season. He's made all 15 extra point attempts. While he hasn't tried a field goal from 50 yards out, that's not to say he doesn't have enough leg. Trust him as your kicker for the rest of the season.
