Wil Lutz won the game for the Saints in Week 8 and remains a top-10 fantasy option for Week 9
In Week 8, Ryan Succop and Michael Badgley had the most fantasy points among kickers. These kickers are not widely owned, but that's fantasy football this year. Cairo Santos had the second-most points and he's owned in even fewer leagues. It's hard to trust a Bears kicker based on the history, but Santos did hit a clutch field goal to send the Bears/Saints game into overtime. Wil Lutz, the Saints kicker, had the third-most fantasy points among kickers in Week 8. In Week 9, Lutz is ranked No. 7. Succop and Badgley are ranked No. 9 and No. 10, respectively. Santos is still hard to trust and is out of the top 20.
Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh's kicker, is ranked No. 4, which is the highest he's been ranked all year. The Steelers face the Dallas Cowboys, and they should easily win that game. Typically when a team is expected to win, the kicker is a solid fantasy option. This also is the time of year to start looking at the weather. This game is played in Dallas, so weather will not be a concern inside AT&T Stadium. However, keep an eye on the weather if you are debating between two kickers. Just ask Las Vegas' Daniel Carlson what can happen in less-than-ideal conditions.
