Projections for the season ahead
As the 2020 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, the reigning MVP, and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
It wasn’t surprising to see Jackson set records for rushing attempts and yards by a quarterback in his first season as a full-time starter. He set the attempts record the year before, despite starting only seven games. That aspect won’t go away and drives his fantasy value. Expect big regression from a 9.0 percent passing-touchdown rate, fourth highest since the AFL-NFL merger, although a healthier Marquise Brown can only help weekly upside.

No one will question Jackson’s fantasy profile. But you’ll need to leap in Round 2 to get him. You can wait much longer for QB production.
