At quarterback, Derek Anderson and Josh Allen have both been ruled out for Buffalo, but you probably weren't going to start either in the first place. Ryan Tannehill also has been ruled out but he hasn't played since Week 5. Kicker Matt Bryant also has been ruled out, but you can replace him with Giorgio Tavecchio or any one of a handful of kickers available in your league.
Among running backs, Chris Thompson and Ronald Jones are out and after it looked like he was going to be able to return, Darren Sproles re-injured his hamstring and he'll miss yet another game. That still leaves a few running backs worth paying attention to. Just make sure these guys (and any other players with a Questionable tag on your team) are active before plugging them into your lineup.
Teams on bye: Baltimore, Denver, Houston, Minnesota
Note: All times are ET and all games are on Sunday, Nov. 11.
Sony Michel (knee), RB, New England Patriots at Tennessee Titans, 1 p.m.
Fantasy owners didn’t have Michel for the past two weeks after he suffered a knee injury in Week 7. However, he was close to playing last week and should be out there on Sunday. Tennessee's run defense actually is pretty solid. The Titans have allowed just one running back to score a touchdown against them (Alex Collins scored two in Week 6). No running back has gone for 100 rushing yards either. Michel dealt with a knee injury in the preseason, and is at risk for a setback. He’s great when healthy, but is a RB2 this week.
Chris Carson (hip), RB, Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams, 4:25 p.m.
Owning Carson in fantasy this season has been frustrating. When healthy, he’s been great: three 100-yard games and two touchdowns. However, the games where he has left injured or tried to play through injury have been tough on fantasy owners. Week 10 is shaping up to be one of those weeks. Carson is listed as questionable with the hip injury that he suffered in Week 9. He hasn’t practiced all week, and he is going to be a game-time decision. It’s possible the Seahawks announce it early, but given the later start time, fantasy owners should plan to keep Carson on their bench in Week 10. Start Mike Davis if Carson sits.
Kerryon Johnson (ankle), RB, Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears, 1 p.m.
After getting in limited practices, Johnson should play this week. However, his role might be diminished because Theo Riddick is expected to be back. With LeGarrette Blount getting goal-line work and short yardage work as well, this backfield is a mess. It’s also possible the Lions are trailing again and the running backs won’t see a ton of work. Johnson is a low RB2 in this matchup.
Giovani Bernard (knee), RB, Cincinnati Bengals vs. New Orleans Saints, 1 p.m.
Bernard hasn’t played since Week 4, but now that Joe Mixon is healthy, Bernard doesn’t have much fantasy value. He is fully expected to play this week after practicing. Mixon owners should pick him up as a handcuff, but Bernard shouldn’t be started in fantasy this week.
