Fantasy owners went into the draft looking for a quarterback who will lead their team to a championship, and the Week 1 rankings will hopefully support their decision. It's always hard to judge how a team will look before they have played a regular season game. Last year, Russell Wilson had the most fantasy points among all quarterbacks. He wasn't typically one of the top five quarterbacks off the board on draft day, but his in-season value may end up in that range again.
In Week 1, Wilson plays the Denver Broncos, which is usually a tough matchup. He's the fifth-ranked quarterback. Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers maintain the top two spots, as both have historically been top-tier quarterbacks. Brady may be 41 years old, but (especially at the start of the season), he's usually good for a couple hundred yards and a couple of touchdowns. Week 1 vs. the Houston Texans should bring the same.
