Tom Brady is at the top of my Week 10 fantasy quarterback rankings. Perhaps that is a surprise, perhaps it's not.
You kind of had to figure the player with the lowest current odds to win MVP was going to be atop my QB rankings at some point. I just didn't expect it to be the week that Dak Prescott was playing Atlanta or that Josh Allen was playing the Jets.
Part of that is because when the season kicked off, I didn't think Washington would struggle on defense as this team has. But now halfway through the season, Washington is currently the most generous team when it comes to allowing fantasy points to opposing QBs.
Not only last, but Washington is last by a wide margin. This defense is allowing more than four fantasy points per game to the position than the next team (Indianapolis). Those same four points away from Indy brings you all the way up to the 14th-most generous team. Telling isn't it?
Enter a quarterback with a 5:1 TD-to-INT ratio (25, 5) who is completing more than two-thirds of his passes and already has 2,650 yards through the air through eight games? This could get really ugly really fast.
