Quarterback Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 11

Quarterback Rankings Week 4: Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones may be the next Philip Rivers, and that's not a bad thing fantasy-wise

Don't look now, but Daniel Jones is slowly becoming the Philip Rivers of the post-Rivers era. Maybe my Week 11 fantasy quarterback rankings explain that.

Actually, they don't. So allow me to explain.

Every year during Rivers' reign, the top-tier quarterbacks would quickly fly off the board and he typically was not one of them. Then the next tier would go and Rivers wasn't part of them either. But owners were never worried. The thought was "No problem, I'll just take Rivers next round if I have to." He was constantly in that QB11 to QB14 range almost every year. You knew he was going to have one really bad game every year, but most weeks he was right on the fringe of the top dozen quarterbacks.

Jones seems to have followed right in Rivers' footsteps. Yup, he had that horrible three-interception game against the Rams in Week 6. But he's only had two other interceptions total, and he's managed to account for at least two touchdowns in more than half of his other games.

It looks ugly, but Tampa Bay has been pretty generous lately to quarterbacks. Believe it or not, Jones looks like the ideal streaming option this week.
