My Week 14 fantasy quarterback rankings are proof that sometimes I prefer to run with the pack. My Week 13 rankings were proof that sometimes I don't. I did the same thing in Week 12 when I faded Aaron Rodgers. That worked out well. Unfortunately, I faded Rodgers last week too. That did not work out as well.
Here's where a younger and more defensive me would point out that Aaron Jones had a rushing touchdown wiped off the board due to a penalty. And then nearly immediately after Rodgers got another one of his four TD passes. And if Jones' scores remain on the board, things might have been different. Blah blah blah. But you can always put the if in whiff. And I actually did pretty well last week.
As one of my readers pointed out last week before the games started, I had Deshaun Watson pretty high and Kyle Allen extremely low given that they were facing the Patriots and Redsksins respectively. As I shared with that same reader on Monday, maybe, just maybe, I know what I'm doing.
But this week I'm running with the pack for the most part. We'll see if that turns out to be the right decision or not.
