Quarterback Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 2

Lamar Jackson led all QBs in fantasy scoring last week thanks to five TD passes vs. Miami

Before we get to the Week 2 fantasy quarterback rankings, a little self-reflection. Sometimes I am way off-base. This past week was not one of those times. I loved Deshaun Watson and Lamar Jackson. Both had stellar performances. I also cautioned you against Cam Newton. How bad was Newton's performance in Week 1? Depending on your scoring, Mitchell Trubisky's stinker to open the season was more productive.

So who do I like for Week 2? I think Gardner Minshew does more than people think in his first start as Nick Foles' replacement, but he's still outside the top 24 quarterbacks this week. Jimmy Garoppolo, however, is definitely a top-20 QB this week. And I love Philadelphia's and Antonio Brown's new team's matchups too much not to have both those quarterbacks in my top five this week.

I do think Newton gets back on track this week and gives us a QB1-worthy production. On the other side, his counterpart in that game, Jameis Winston, is best left in the trainyard. He will be better than last week, but will struggle to finish in the top 25 again this week. Here are the rest of my QB rankings.
