Aaron Rodgers threw four TD passes in Week 1 and is a QB1 for Week 2
Depending on league scoring, Aaron Rodgers was the top-scoring fantasy quarterback for Week 1. In most drafts, Rodgers was drafted as a second quarterback and potentially as a backup. Is Rodgers back? Is Minnesota's defense just not good? Did he and Davante Adams quarantine together and just practice plays for six months? These questions remain to be answered, but while Rodgers is playing well — and has good matchups — he should be ranked accordingly. For Week 2, he is a QB1 with his No. 8 ranking. The Packers are home vs. Detroit. The Lions just made Mitchell Trubisky look good (at least for one quarter), so Rodgers should be able to put together a solid performance again.
Russell Wilson is the only other quarterback to throw for four touchdowns in Week 1. Wilson has been a solid fantasy quarterback, and sits at the No. 3 spot for Week 2. It will be hard to rank Wilson above Patrick Mahomes or Lamar Jackson, but those are clearly the top three from week to week. They may not end in that order, but all three have such a high ceiling, fantasy owners are lucky to have a no-brainer starting decision at quarterback if they own one of those three.
