Quarterback Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 5

Justin Herbert is a viable bye-week replacement for Week 5

Heading into Week 5, fantasy owners already know two teams will be on bye so those who have Aaron Rodgers or Matthew Stafford on their rosters will be looking for replacements. Teddy Bridgewater and Justin Herbert finished in the top six in terms of fantasy points (depending on league scoring) in Week 4 and might be viable replacement options for Week 5.

Bridgewater is ranked No. 10, which may seem high, but he did look good with his three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) in Week 4. He faces the Falcons in Week 5, who are a team that quarterbacks can throw against. Rodgers put up 327 yards and four touchdowns against them on Monday night. While Bridgewater isn't quite on Rodgers' level, he certainly can put up decent numbers against Atlanta's generous defense.

Herbert is ranked No. 15, in the QB2 range, but he may be available on the waiver wire for those needing a quarterback replacement. He faces the Saints on Monday night. This may not be the easiest matchup, but Herbert has looked better each week. He threw three touchdown passes in Week 4, his most yet. He only has one interception in each game. It seems like he has won this job over Tyrod Taylor, even when Taylor is able to return.
