We will start my Week 5 fantasy football quarterback rankings with something I am a little embarrassed to admit.
Last year, I actually bet Justin Fields to win the MVP. Perhaps it still stings, which is why I have him ranked much lower than the Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR) this week.
Fortunately, I did not bet on him to accomplish anything this season. I didn't even like him as a QB2 this season and he's barely a mid-level QB3 for me this week.
Typically you want your QB to have a 2:1 TD-to-INT ratio. Fields actually has the reverse of that with just two TDs to four INTs. He has a QB Rating of 58.7. He's completing less than 51 percent of his passes. He is still showing some rushing prowess but has just one rushing score to show for it so far.
If you don't have to start him, don't. Besides Fields, see below for the rest of my Week 5 QB rankings.
