Fantasy owners of Drew Brees were pretty happy on Monday night. He ended as predicted: the No. 1 quarterback in fantasy for Week 5. He also set the passing yardage record with a long touchdown to Tre'Quan Smith. His reward is that he gets a week off. His fantasy owners will need to scramble to find a replacement for Week 6. Andy Dalton (67 percent owned) faces the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have given up plenty of points. Dalton is a decent streaming option and he's ranked No. 10 this week.
Another quarterback to look to pick up is Jameis Winston (22 percent owned). This will be his first start of the 2018 season, and the matchup against the Atlanta Falcons is a good one. Winston is ranked No. 9 this week. The Bucs have plenty of weapons, and they are coming off a bye. Some of the younger players may have benefitted from the extra time to work with their new quarterback.
Teams on bye: Detroit, New Orleans
