After solid outings the past three weeks, Mitchell Trubisky is slowly becoming a QB1
Fantasy owners may not be surprised at this point when Patrick Mahomes is the top quarterback each week. However, Mitchell Trubisky was the No. 2 quarterback in Week 7. He's thrown for 11 touchdowns vs. three interceptions over the past three weeks. In that span, he's also thrown for more than 300 yards in each game. On the season, only Cam Newton has more rushing yards than Trubisky. Somehow, Trubisky is available in nearly half of Yahoo! fantasy leagues; pick him up as a solid backup (and potential QB1 depending on the matchup). He's ranked No. 12 this week.
In Week 7, fantasy owners were looking at Baker Mayfield as a possible streaming option. He had 215 yards and two touchdowns, which isn't quite as good as owners were hoping for. Mayfield faces the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, which should be another decent matchup. The problem for Cleveland is the lack of offensive weapons. Mayfield is a decent streaming option and is 41 percent owned, but if Trubisky is available, grab him first.
Teams on bye: Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles Chargers, Tennessee
