Fantasy owners may have benched Deshaun Watson in Week 8 and regretted that decision as he threw for five touchdowns and finished as the No. 1 quarterback of the week. Watson is at Denver for Week 9, and is in the top 10. The Denver defense isn't what it used to be (Patrick Mahomes faced them in Week 8 and was the second-highest scoring QB). The Broncos also have allowed a touchdown to each quarterback so far this season except for Jared Goff. Watson now has Demaryius Thomas at his disposal as well, who will be facing his former team in his first game as a Texan.
Streaming quarterback options are hard to come by this week with six teams on bye. However, Ryan Fitzpatrick may be available in many leagues as he was dropped after Jameis Winston got the starting job back. But last week, Winston was benched after throwing four interceptions. The Buccaneers have already announced that Fitzpatrick will be the Week 9 starter. While it's tough to say that he'll stay in the game for all four quarters, he should be picked up and started, especially with Carson Wentz, Andrew Luck, Andy Dalton, Blake Bortles, Eli Manning and Josh Rosen all on bye.
Teams on bye: Arizona, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, New York Giants, Philadelphia
