As we head into Week 10, fantasy managers need to keep an eye on a few developing running back situations which may affect the rankings. In Cleveland, Nick Chubb and Demetric Felton both tested positive for COVID-19. While it is possible they can be cleared for Sunday, they both would need to be vaccinated and have two negative tests and they are going to slowly run out of days. If Chubb is inactive, D'Ernest Johnson would be the running back to start.
Also keep an eye on Dalvin Cook. On Tuesday night, reports surfaced that Cook has been accused of physical and emotional abuse by his ex-girlfriend. Without knowing any further details, it is hard to say how this will affect his playing status. However, fantasy managers need to own Alexander Mattison — regardless of if Cook is on your team — just in case.
