Fantasy owners who were brave enough to start James White last week were able to reap the rewards of the running back with the most fantasy points in PPR formats. After finishing with negative yards (-1) in Week 12, White totaled 177 yards from scrimmage with two touchdowns in Week 13. That total includes eight receptions. He's ranked No. 34 for Week 14 based on his ability to catch the ball and the fact that Tom Brady was looking for him when the Patriots were playing from behind. New England faces Kansas City in Week 14, so the Patriots may end up in a similar situation.
Another running back to keep an eye on is Chris Carson. He's ranked No. 12 for Week 14, even with a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. It seemed that he may cede work to Rashaad Penny, and while that did occur to some extent in Seattle's win on Monday night over Minnesota, Carson still got 23 carries. He turned those into 102 yards and a touchdown, but most importantly, no fumbles. Penny, ranked No. 31 has flex/RB3 value as he had 15 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown. His primary value is in the passing game, where he added four receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown.
