Running Back Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 6

Najee Harris, Pittsburgh Steelers

Najee Harris is one to benefit from injuries to other players on his team

As more and more running backs are getting injured, the fantasy rankings for the position look a bit different than expected on draft day. Ahead of Week 6, Saquon Barkley is definitely out. Christian McCaffrey is likely still out and Dalvin Cook will likely be questionable. David Montgomery and Clyde Edwards-Helaire are both on IR. Chris Carson is questionable heading into the week as well and he is not ranked below as of now.

It does make ranking running backs difficult as it is hard to predict who will play for each team. With additional injuries at quarterback and wide receiver, the running backs may take on a greater role. Rookie Najee Harris has seen plenty of targets as the Pittsburgh wide receivers have been injured. With JuJu Smith-Schuster out for the rest of the season, Harris may continue to get more looks in the passing game. He's an every-week RB1.
