Running Back Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 9

Miles Sanders has been a pleasant surprise for fantasy managers this season and that should continue on Thursday night.

Let's spotlight the two highest discrepancies in Week 9 fantasy running back rankings – Miles Sanders and Devin Singletary.

Both backs were typically drafted after the early rounds but both backs find themselves firmly entrenched inside the top 20 in standard fantasy leagues.

And I suspect they only continue to improve. Sanders has already five more touchdowns than last year. He is less than 200 yards away from topping last year's mark in that category. And with Houston on tap for Thursday night (insert lame Houston/Philadelphia rivalry for this week joke), Sanders should be able to run wild. The Texans are allowing the most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. Love me some Sanders this week.

I had Singletary much higher before the Nyheim Hines trade, but you know what? I still like him. I think the Bills got Hines so they could keep drives going late in the game and keep Singletary fresh. I am expecting Singletary to remain as the primary back for Buffalo.

Check out the rest of my Week 9 RB rankings to see who else I like more than others.
