Travis Kelce begins the season where he ended 2018 — atop the TE rankings
The Week 1 fantasy tight end rankings look very similar to my tight end tiers that were published earlier in the preseason. I know, you're in absolute shock. I do have Vance McDonald higher up this week, however. The Patriots have a knack for taking away their opposition's best weapon. McDonald is not the Steelers' best weapon. I think he actually has a decent game this week by default.
I do like Trey Burton (assuming he plays as he's dealing with a groin injury) and Gerald Everett better than most this week. I also think Seattle will be able to attack Cincinnati on all fronts and therefore I ranked Will Dissly pretty high. Do not expect to see him in the top 20 too often this year.
