Hayden Hurst has seen his role in the Falcons' passing attack increase over the past several games
So Travis Kelce is at the top of my Week 11 fantasy football tight end rankings. Yawn.
Of minimal interest is that opposite Kelce on Sunday will be Darren Waller, my No. 2 for Week 11. Amusing, but doesn't exactly get the blood rushing, does it?
But you know what might raise an eyebrow or two? My ranking of Hayden Hurst this week. I have him sixth this week, which is much higher than the Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR), who as of submission have him ranked 10th. Hurst has already surpassed his numbers from last year. However, he has yet to surpass 72 yards in a single game this year.
The good news is he facing the Saints, the team that has given up the sixth-most fantasy points per game to TEs thus far. With this game having an over/under of more than 50 points, I think we see an aerial show. The odds of Hurst surpassing both Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley is fairly low. However, Hurst has seen at least seven targets each of his last three games. We can expect at least that many on Sunday afternoon.
Hurst should notch at least 50 receiving yards too. It's been almost four weeks since he scored, but call it a gut feeling that I think he gets in the end zone this week.
Teams on bye: Buffalo, Chicago, New York Giants, San Francisco
