Tight End Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 3

Travis Kelce should continue to shine on Monday night against Baltimore

For a change, there will be zero discussion of George Kittle in the Week 3 fantasy football tight end rankings. The number one reason for that however is because Week 3 features a battle between the top two TEs in the early going this season.

I'd say mano a mano, face to face, and all that, but unfortunately they won't be squaring off directly against one another. But their teams will be going at it in one of the most anticipated "Monday Night Football" games this season. I'm going to give the slightest edge to Travis Kelce as the Ravens often have issues with big-bodied TEs, especially when they shut down the other weapons a team has. If Kansas City is going to win this game in Baltimore, its because Kelce has a huge night. Mark Andrews, however, does not need to have a huge night for Baltimore to win. It could easily be Lamar Jackson's other targets or the running game doing the damage. So for that reason, I'm giving Kelce the edge this week.

I hope you enjoyed Tyler Higbee's big week because it's not happening again. I'd keep my expectations low for Higbee against Buffalo. He's still a TE1, but look at the name right above him — Logan Thomas. Yup, I'm a believer. He wasn't as productive in Week 2 as he was in Week 1, but the Cardinals have a good defense again. Meanwhile, Thomas and the Washington Football Team will be taking on Cleveland, who has given up more than 25 fantasy points to TEs each of the last two weeks. Yes, that is the worst in the league. Those that picked Thomas up last week had best hold onto him because this week is a great starting spot for him.
