The fantasy tight end rankings for Week 4 are a mess. I definitely want to have one of the top three tight ends this week if possible. At the top once again is Travis Kelce. No justification is needed for that choice. Evan Engram grabs the second spot for two reasons. The first is the strong matchup: Washington is one of the top dozen most generous defenses in fantasy points allowed to tight ends. The second is the expected load increase he should see with Saquon Barkley out for the next several weeks. Behind Engram is Mark Andrews, who has been an absolute beast and is taking on Cleveland, the third-most generous defense for the position.
After that, the next 10-15 tight ends could be nearly in any order and I wouldn't disagree.
Some however might disagree with where I have Zach Ertz ranked. Remember George Kittle isn't even playing this week because the 49ers are on bye. And I still have Ertz in the top five, but I definitely like him a lot less this week. Green Bay has been quite stout against the tight end. I expect Engram and Andrews to see far more catches than Ertz does this week.
Teams on bye: New York Jets, San Francisco
