Tight End Rankings: NFL Fantasy Week 5

Last week, Mo Alie-Cox was the TE that had the big game for the Colts but don't be surprised if it's someone else this week.

I feel like for the Week 5 fantasy football tight end rankings, we have to talk about the Indianapolis Colts.

Because they are becoming downright Belichickian when it comes to predicting their success. Last week, Mo Alie-Cox had a huge day, catching six of six targets for 85 yards and two scores. The previous three weeks he combined for 44 yards and no scores.

The week before, Jelani Woods had two touchdowns after not seeing a single target the first two weeks.

Meanwhile, Kylin Granson hasn't scored yet, but has seen at least two targets each week and leads all three Colts TEs with 15 targets. So yes, I'm elevating Granson three spots higher than the Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR) as I think it might be his turn this week. And I'm balancing that by having Alie-Cox nine spots lower than the ECR, who I believe is suffering from a severe case of recency bias.

But predicting which one has success is becoming a nightmare and it might be best to just avoid them altogether.
