I am pretty aligned with the ECR (Expert Consensus Rankings) across my own this week and my Week 6 fantasy tight end rankings are no different.
The biggest exception might be down around the bottom of the TE2 range where I have Cole Kmet as a top-20 TE this week and the ECR does not. And it's still rather minor. But let's talk about Kmet.
Kmet is clearly the TE1 on this team. He has played 249 snaps. Only Darnell Mooney has more snaps amongst TEs, WRs, and RBs than Kmet. Yes, Kmet has more snaps than Allen Robinson! We can argue if that should be the case, but the point is the Bears' coaching staff obviously likes Kmet and he should continue to be on the field nearly all the time.
And I know Kmet hasn't scored or even had three catches any of the last four weeks. Call it a gut call if you want, but I think he has a solid game on Sunday against the Packers. Green Bay's defense is overrated. They are in the bottom half of the league in points allowed. And against tights ends, they have allowed the 12th-most fantasy points.
I don't see Kmet being a top option this week. But inside the top 20? Definitely.
