Projections for the season ahead
As the 2020 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at new Atlanta Falcons running back Todd Gurley and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
Gurley quickly found a new home after the Rams dumped him, but he got just a one-year contract. Atlanta presents loads of touch upside, however. No returning Falcons back drew more than 78 carries or 14 targets in 2019. Gurley has unquestionably declined. Football Outsiders rated him average as a runner and below average as a receiver in 2019. Gurley easily beat Devonta Freeman in the rush ratings but trailed him in receiving.

Gurley doesn’t need to rebound in real football terms to help in fantasy. But neither he nor the situation is as good as it used to be.
