There are a lot of wide receivers on the Week 12 fantasy injury report this week, but seven of them come from three teams. Some of the players on this list are likely out, but are listed as questionable, so be sure to check the inactive report before game time.
Note that JuJu Smith-Schuster and A.J. Green have already been ruled out. Also, be sure to keep an eye on the Los Angeles Rams wide receivers. Josh Reynolds had an illness last week but is fully expected to play. Robert Woods did not play last week because of a personal issue, and the team is not saying for sure that he’ll play this week. Brandin Cooks is no longer listed as questionable and has cleared the concussion protocol. He’ll play, but one more head injury may end his career.
Don't forget about the other skill position players and be sure to check the inactive reports before game time.
Teams on bye: Arizona, Kansas City, Los Angeles Chargers, Minnesota
Note: All times are ET and all games are on Sunday, Nov. 24.
Julian Edelman (shoulder), WR, New England Patriots vs. Dallas Cowboys, 4:25 p.m.
Edelman is New England's healthiest receiver worth starting in fantasy this week. He's listed with a shoulder injury, although he's been on the injury report for weeks with shoulder/rib injuries. He's played through all of them. The last time he didn't have double-digit targets was Week 5 (he had nine). He's had at least five receptions or 50 receiving yards in every game since Week 4. Expect Edelman to see plenty of targets in Week 12. He's a solid WR2.
Alshon Jeffrey (ankle), WR, Philadelphia Eagles vs. Seattle Seahawks, 1 p.m.
Based on practice reports from this week, Jeffrey should play on Sunday. However, he is prone to injury and in-game re-injury is possible. In the past three games he's played, he hasn't had more than four receptions or 65 yards. He hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6, and the matchup against the Seahawks isn't an easy one. Tread cautiously.
Emmanuel Sanders (ribs), WR, San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers, 8:20 p.m.
Sanders is likely going to play through his injury again, but the risk of aggravation (or worse) is high. That's what happened in Week 11. While Sanders has had another week to heal, rib injuries are painful. Until the ribs heal, Sanders is nothing more than a WR3. Fantasy owners can pencil him in as he'll likely be active for the Sunday night game, but he's going to be tough to trust.
Deebo Samuel (shoulder), WR, San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers, 8:20 p.m.
Samuel had a big game in Week 11 as George Kittle was out and Emmanuel Sanders left after re-injuring his ribs. This followed the rookie's big game in Week 10. However, Kittle is likely to be back and Sanders will play again this week. Samuel should play as well, after putting in limited practices this week. His floor is lower with the other pass catchers in the mix. Samuel is a WR3.
Mohamed Sanu (ankle), WR, New England Patriots vs. Dallas Cowboys, 4:25 p.m.
Based on all reports, it seems that Sanu will be out this week. It was released that he had an ankle injury that may require him to miss multiple weeks. It sounds like a high-ankle sprain, and he didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday. He had a limited session on Friday, but fantasy owners should plan on keeping Sanu on their bench.
Phillip Dorsett (concussion), WR, New England Patriots vs. Dallas Cowboys, 4:25 p.m.
As of Saturday morning, Dorsett has not cleared the concussion protocol. Fantasy owners should not plan on having him in their lineups for Week 12. It's hard for a player to clear the concussion protocol and play in that amount of time, but not impossible. However, fantasy owners should not plan on having Dorsett in Week 12.
Nelson Agholor (knee), WR, Philadelphia Eagles vs. Seattle Seahawks, 1 p.m.
Based on the lack of practice this week, it's hard to predict Agholor's availability. Fantasy owners that are relying on Agholor probably should seek out better options, but if that's not possible, check the inactive report before the game. Because this game is at 1 p.m. ET, fantasy owners will know early. If Alshon Jeffrey is out and Agholor is in, he's a WR3. If both are active, Agholor is just a WR4.
Auden Tate (concussion), WR, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, 1 p.m.
Fantasy owners should not expect to have Tate this week, although they will find out early because of his time slot. Tate was carted off the field in Week 11 with a concussion after a hard hit. He hasn't practiced all week, nor has he cleared the concussion protocol. Find another wide receiver for Week 12.
