It's the first week of the fantasy football season! This means everyone has a clean slate. Last year's mistakes are (mostly) forgotten, and everyone has a chance to win. When it comes to setting a lineup, typically the first wide receivers drafted will be the ones that you want to start. However, that may not always be the case. Keep an eye on players that have changed teams and how depth charts are affected.
The Colts wide receivers have dropped in the rankings now that Andrew Luck has retired. Dante Pettis is the top-ranked wide receiver in San Francisco, at least for now. He's the highest-ranked 49er on this list as well. Keke Coutee looks to be ready for Week 1, although with the addition of Kenny Stills, his value will take a hit. Fantasy owners may take the risk on him for Week 1, but his value will likely decline (assuming he can even stay on the field). When it comes to wide receivers, use the rankings as a guide, but always trust your own intuition as well.
