The fantasy season is over for most, but for those still playing into Week 18 or enjoying Daily Fantasy Football (DFS), you are still looking at which players to start this week. The biggest key is paying attention to the teams that still have something to play for and those that could potentially rest their starters.
For example, Green Bay has not only clinched the division title, but the Packers also have already sewed up home-field advantage throughout the playoffs and the first-round bye. Aaron Rodgers still wants to play, but will Davante Adams be out there for four quarters? Probably not. The same goes for some other teams that are in the postseason and not really playing for anything other than seeding.
The Los Angeles Rams, for example, can clinch the NFC West with a win over San Francisco (or an Arizona loss) and are still in line for the No. 2 seed. Odell Beckham Jr. has looked great recently, scoring a touchdown in five of the last six games. He's ranked No. 18 and should be started as a WR2. Cooper Kupp is obviously a great choice this week as he's been a top option all season. Van Jefferson may be worth a dart throw, depending on the price/league format. He's ranked as a high WR3.
