Week 2 had some big fantasy performances from wide receivers like Stefon Diggs, A.J. Green, Michael Thomas, Adam Thielen, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Wil Fuller and Keelan Cole.
On the other side if you had told owners that John Brown would outscore Antonio Brown, DeSean Jackson would have another 20-plus fantasy point week, and Tavon Austin would be fantasy relevant, they probably would have mocked you.
Yet it did happen, and this is another reason why wide receiver remains full of reliable difference-makers as well as a number of guys who can come from nowhere and put up big numbers in any given week.
With so many projected high-scoring affairs and given the rash of injuries that has devastated the running back position, it's entirely possible that wide receivers as a while could repeat their Week 2 production, if not improve upon it. From a rankings standpoint, there are no surprises in the top 10 aside from the presence of two Steelers.
As always be sure to check back closer to Sunday for any last-minute tweaks to these rankings.
