Nelson Agholor and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside should see a bump if DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffrey sit
While the top five wide receivers in terms of fantasy football in Week 1 were mostly unexpected, the top five for Week 2 were entirely different. Julio Jones made the list, as did Odell Beckham Jr. However, the remaining three were Emmanuel Sanders, Chris Godwin, and Demarcus Robinson (six percent owned). While Sanders and Godwin were drafted as WR2/3 by fantasy owners, Robinson went undrafted in most fantasy leagues. He had one reception for zero yards in Week 1. Fantasy owners are going to rush to the waiver wire to pick him up, but will he be able to repeat his Week 2 performance? It seems unlikely, but in a Patrick Mahomes-led offense, anything is possible.
Fantasy owners of the Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers need to be alert. DeSean Jackson's is expected to miss two weeks because of an abdominal strain. Alshon Jeffrey (calf) also is questionable, falling more on the side of doubtful early in the week. With those two out, expect a lot of Zach Ertz, but also Nelson Agholor (ranked No. 30) and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside (ranked No. 63). Arcega-Whiteside will likely move up in the rankings if Jeffery is ruled out. Both may be available on waivers for those looking for another option at wide receiver.
