Allen Robinson II gets a bump this week because of his matchup against Atlanta's generous secondary
Other than perhaps Jerry Jeudy moving up more than half a dozen spots, my fantasy football Week 3 wide receiver rankings are pretty in line with the ECR (Experts Consensus Rankings). But this is a great week to be WR-heavy as many of the studs have plush matchups.
Detroit got torched by Davante Adams and therefore I see DeAndre Hopkins doing similarly bad things to the Lions out in the desert. Most will probably have Hopkins atop their Week 3 WR rankings as well. But my No. 2 option might be a bit of a surprise. However, the Atlanta secondary has been absolutely horrible and has given up the fifth-most fantasy points to WRs. And that's why I've confidently got Allen Robinson as my second overall WR this week.
Robinson has nine targets each of the last two weeks and I will be shocked if he doesn't see double-digit targets this weekend. Robinson has yet to score a touchdown. However, Atlanta has been letting so many folks speed into the end zone that the Georgia police are looking into setting up speed traps at the goal line. Robinson's drought will end this weekend.
I'm also going to keep driving the Miles Boykin stagecoach despite Lamar Jackson spreading the ball around to all of his pass catchers. Call it a hunch, but I think Boykin scores this weekend against the Chiefs and is definitely a top-60 WR this week.
