I have a ton of minor discrepancies between my Week 3 fantasy wide receiver rankings and the Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR), but they relate to those in WR3 territory and below. The one exception is Chris Olave who the ECR has outside of the WR3 range. And they're making a mistake.
Olave led all Saints WRs on Sunday with a whopping 13 targets. He was definitely Jameis Winston's favorite deep threat and was able to turn those 13 targets into 80 yards. Should Winston manage to be a little more accurate, I expect Olave's numbers to improve even more.
And while Olave gets a big boost this week, it is balanced out with Jerry Jeudy plummeting down my rankings. Jeudy is considered day-to-day with a rib injury. He could start this week, but I would keep my expectations very low for Jeudy this week.
For one, Cortland Sutton seems to be Russell Wilson's preferred target. And even should Wilson show equal love for Jeudy, the fact that San Francisco is allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points to WRs this year does not bode well for Jeudy's prospects on Sunday night, if he plays.
See below for the rest of my Week 3 WR rankings.
