I am putting together my Week 6 fantasy wide receiver rankings here on Tuesday and my initial thought is that the unusual timing has impacted some player placements. Because I am having a hard time understanding why studs like Davante Adams and Kenny Golladay are so low for the ECR (Expert Consensus Rankings) unless some haven't adjusted theirs with both set to return after their bye week.
Speaking of byes, we lose a bunch of tier 1 receivers this week with teams like the Seahawks and Chargers off in addition to the Raiders and Saints. Even with the loss of several top-notch receivers, Tyreek Hill is still not a top-five fantasy option this week.
You heard me. It might be one of the more notable places that the ECR and I split. But the Raiders (of all teams!) showed the league how to beat the Chiefs. And Buffalo has a far better defense than the Raiders (although Tuesday night's show against Tennessee certainly doesn't help this claim). Hill will get his. He's not getting blanked. A solid day of 80 yards and a TD would not surprise me. But that's not top-five WR numbers in a given week. And I have a number of Hill shares. But given that the Bills have fared pretty well against the pass this season, I'm keeping my expectations a little lower this week than usual.
Teams on bye: Las Vegas, Los Angeles Chargers, New Orleans, Seattle
