Similar to the running backs in Week 7, fantasy owners found many of the top wide receivers from Week 7 are not the guys they were used to starting. DeAndre Hopkins finally had the game owners were waiting for, but the rest of the top five included Marvin Jones Jr., Zach Pascal, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Allen Robinson. Three of those four (all but Pascal) are ranked in the 20s for Week 8, which is probably where they are more likely to finish, rather than in the top five. Tied for sixth in terms of fantasy points was Stefon Diggs. With Adam Thielen potentially out (or at least limited) in Week 8, Diggs should be a WR1 (he's ranked No. 12).
The Jets looked brutal against the New England Patriots, but then again, most teams haven't exactly looked their best against the Patriots. The Jets face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8, which should be an easier matchup. Don't give up on the Jets' receivers just yet. Check the waiver wire to see if Jamison Crowder (57 percent owned) is available. In PPR formats, he should have value. Assume the Pats game was just a blip on the radar.
