As the 2019 fantasy football season nears, it's time to examine players who could make or break your fantasy team. Here's a look at Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz and his fantasy outlook for the season ahead.
Over the past four years, only 13 players have drawn more targets than Ertz. Just six have caught more balls. And Ertz lost five games to injuries in that span. His first 16-game season as a starter found him ranking second in the NFL in receptions. The targets figure to come down with Alshon Jeffery ready to start this season — he missed three games to open 2018 — and DeSean Jackson’s arrival. But only two tight ends came within 40 targets of Ertz last year.

The Eagles offense and Ertz’s record of production make him a safer bet than George Kittle, but there’s a gap between him and Travis Kelce.
