Crazy Stat Shows Having a Great Regular Season Doesn't Equal Postseason Success


If you're one of those "regular season doesn't mean anything" fans, this is right up your alley. 

After having one of the greatest regular seasons in hockey, the Tampa Bay Lightning were shockingly swept in the playoffs by the eight-seeded Blue Jackets. 

This isn't the first time a great regular season team has underachieved in the playoffs. NBA can't mention the lengendary 73-9 Warriors without bringing up the fact that they lost in the Finals to LeBron James and the Cavaliers.
