Michael Vick is coming back to football, but not in the way you may think.
The former Falcons quarterback will be the new Offensive Coordinator for the Atlanta Alliance of American Football team. Atlanta is the second city of eight total to be announced for the league, and the team will be coached by former Vikings HC Brad Childress.
Vick seems ready to get acclimated to his new role and is anxious to begin teaching.
"I've always had a passion for teaching, a passion for coaching," Vick said at a news conference. "When Brad called me about this opportunity, I felt like it was obviously something I couldn't pass up."
Still seen as a star from his playing days with the Falcons, Vick has high hopes his involvement, along with others, will bring fans of all ages out to watch.
