Concacaf Gold Cup Schedule 2019

The U.S. looks to win back-to-back championships for the first time since 2005, '07

The 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup takes place June 15-July 7 with the United States, Costa Rica and Jamaica serving as co-hosts. The U.S. previously co-hosted both the 1993 and 2003 Gold Cup events with Mexico, and shared the 2015 edition with Canada. But this year's event will mark the first time that Gold Cup matches have been played outside of North America. Beyond that the United States has hosted every Gold Cup game.

Fox Sports, FS1, and Univision will broadcast this year's games with the following serving as host cities: Chicago, Denver, Houston, Charlotte, N.C., Philadelphia, Nashville, Tenn., Cleveland, Los Angeles, Pasadena, Calif., Glendale, Ariz., Frisco, Texas, Harrison, N.J., St. Paul, Kansas City, Kan., San Jose, Costa Rica, and Kingston, Jamaica. The tournament will kick off on June 15 in the Rose Bowl out in Pasadena, Calif., with the championship game set for July 7 at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Concacaf is the regional FIFA confederation that serves North America, Central America, and the Carribean Islands. Sixteen teams have qualified with Team USA looking to defend its Gold Cup title. Another win would tie the U.S. with Mexico (who last won in 2015) for the most Gold Cup trophies (seven). Bermuda and Guyana are both making their first-ever Gold Cup appearance.

The USMNT will open defense of its Gold Cup title on June 18 in Group D play against Guyana. The rest of the group consists of Panama and Trinidad and Tobago. Here is the full schedule for this year's Gold Cup event.
