They've been called "straight garbage" among other things
There aren't many times Nike misses when it comes to apparel but this seems to be one of them.
The sports conglomerate released some interesting caps for the PGA Championship, and let's just say they weren't well-received. It's an odd decision to have Nike written vertically and fans don't seem to happy about it.
To think someone at Nike golf looked at Koepka’s hat and said “NO, having Nike written horizontally on this hat just doesn’t look right. Let me flip it vertically. Yeah that looks better!” #PGAChampionship pic.twitter.com/WiL2NDH11Q— RYAN BORTIS (@MrSlowDangles) May 16, 2019
Brooks (and Jday and others) should all get a 2 stroke penalty for those Nike golf hats— Wyatt Amaral (@wamaral19) May 16, 2019
Worse than the floral ones from Augusta. Simply an abomination of a lid.— Large Vanilla Coneð¦ (@budcone7) May 16, 2019
Nike may want to limit the release of future hats that look like these, for the sake of the brand.
